Tutorials are intended to familiarize (PhD) students and other newcomers with a certain research field within the scope of the conference. Tutorials are “HOW” lectures (HOW to apply characterization tools? HOW to interpret the results? etc.). After following a tutorial lecture delegates should have the necessary background to attend more-advanced lectures on the subject. Tutorials take 40 min and, because of the educational character, hand-outs will be available online during the conference.
